Rhys and Wade’s flexibility and focus on our small group’s wants and priorities was a huge benefit of this trip as opposed to being on a a larger, more structured group tour. From the commutes between JBurg and Kruger, to the homemade meals, expert animal sightings, unmatched Kruger knowledge, and little things like providing a surprise birthday treat for my fiancé and hearing our favorite veggies in discussion and serving them for dinner the next night, we felt safe and well cared for! Rhys answered my many questions immediately and guided us through the booking process with ease, even when I had difficulty with my bank making payment. He patiently arranged payment through my credit card account.
We were so fortunate to be promptly greeted at our Johannesburg hotel by Wade. What a stellar experience Wade provided us over the next five days!
The drive to Kruger was very picturesque with the many changes in terrain. Wade has an unbelievable knowledge of everything his country has to offer.
Once we entered the park we were immediately immersed in a variety of animals and birds that Wade gave us an overview of each animal and bird that we encountered throughout our trip.
Wade arranged all our sunrise and sunset jeep trips with the local guides and cooked all of our meals! Which were all delicious! What more could you ask for?!?
When we were not doing the jeep tours we spent the rest of our days driving in our personal van with Wade as he shared his vast knowledge of the animals and birds.

2. Mike was an exceptional hiking tour guide. He was knowledgeable and entertaining and customized our second-day hike based on our hiking experience and interests. He picked us up extra early so we could fit two big hikes into our itinerary.

3. The tour said that "dinner was included," but didn't mention that we would be getting a lovely braai from Mike against the backdrop of the Amphitheater. We expected an epic hike (which we did get), but didn't expect such an awesome dinner as well.
